About Children's Lighthouse of Parker
Children's Lighthouse of Parker is a premium early childhood education center serving infants through school-age children in the Parker community. Our beautiful, purpose-built facility is one of the finest early learning environments in the Denver metro area, built on the Lighthouse Pathways® curriculum — a research-based program designed to nurture the whole child through purposeful play, structured learning, and character development.
We are looking for an experienced, driven School Director who is ready to lead this school to its full potential and make a lasting impact on the families and children of the Parker community.
The Opportunity
This is not a caretaker role. We are looking for a leader who wants to build something — a school culture that families trust, a team that is proud to come to work, and an enrollment that reflects the quality of the program inside the building.
As School Director, you will have full autonomy over school operations. You will own the culture, the staff, the family experience, and the enrollment outcomes. You will be supported by CLH’s national brand, marketing infrastructure, and curriculum — and you will have the resources to do the job right.
What You Will Do
• Lead all daily school operations and hold the highest standard for quality, safety, and program delivery
• Build, develop, and retain a strong teaching team through active coaching, mentorship, and clear expectations
• Drive enrollment through exceptional tour experiences, proactive community engagement, and a structured family follow-up process
• Own the relationship with every enrolled family — be visible, be responsive, and be the reason families stay and refer
• Manage licensing compliance, health and safety standards, and all regulatory requirements
• Partner with CLH corporate on marketing, curriculum implementation, and operational best practices
• Monitor key performance metrics including enrollment, capacity utilization, and family retention
• Create a school environment where children thrive, teachers grow, and families feel completely confident
What We Are Looking For
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a School Director or Center Director in early childhood education
• Colorado Director Qualification (or ability to obtain)
• Deep knowledge of childcare licensing regulations in Colorado
• Proven track record of enrollment growth and family retention
• Strong hiring, coaching, and team development skills
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building ability
• A bias toward action, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
What We Offer
• Competitive salary commensurate with experience
• Full leadership autonomy — you run the school
• A beautiful, fully equipped facility in one of Parker’s premier communities
• CLH national curriculum, brand, and marketing support
• Opportunities for professional development and growth within the CLH network
• A team and ownership group that is invested in this school’s success

Our Story
Integrity
Passion
Excellence
These are the core values at Children's Lighthouse Early Learning Schools and have been since our founding more than twenty-five years ago.
When brothers Mike and Pat Brown opened the first Children's Lighthouse school in 1997, they were parents and uncles of several young children. They recognized the need for quality childcare that went beyond playtime and "baby-sitting." That's why, at Children's Lighthouse, our Brand Promise has been the driving factor in everything we do from the beginning.
Children's Lighthouse launched as one of the first early learning schools to focus on promoting character and values as a cornerstone of early education. By investing in the whole child, Children's Lighthouse grew into one of the nation's leading early education childcare organizations. More than twenty-five years later, our passion to serve children and families still motivates us to strive for excellence in every aspect of our organization. As a result, Children's Lighthouse continues to be a top-tier early learning and childcare provider.
